Hoarders Samples

I worked on Hoarders (A&E) for over six seasons. Here are some acts from stories I edited.

Warning! Some of the shows have very graphic footage...

Season 9: First ever two-hour Hoarders story, focuses on one story of a hoarder in a 10,000 sq ft home. I edited acts 2, 4, 8 and 9 (out of 10)

Season 9: Ray is a man loved by many in his neighborhood. Tragically, Ray's brother dies during this production, which presented some challenges in telling the story.

Season 9: Ray meets Dr Tompkins and they tour his shocking home.

Season 9: Ray and the crew react to the passing of Ray's brother the night before.

Fuzzy and Fredd need to get rid of some prized possessions to pay dad back.

Amid tension, Fuzzy and Fredd make progress.

Norman learned collecting from his parents who work in the antique business. But his hoarding is out of control and he has filled his 3-story-plus-basement home with junk. And on top of that, he's dealing with a personal tragedy.

Norman's family members are overcome with emotion when they see inside his home for the first time in many years.

Patti's hoarding has forced herself out of her home.

Jan barely navigates the hoarder trails throughout her home. And she has lots of roommates.

Tempers flare between hoarder Millie and her estranged daughters.

Adelle is an artist who has let her home completely go and her relationships with her children has chilled.

Mark and family have a meeting.

Matt discovers that Lisa has items in the fridge from when her husband left her, 20 years ago. Not safe for lunch.

Mary has lived in her home her entire life and has completely let it go.

The Hoarders therapist can barely hide her shock at the state of Mary's home.

Mike's family is already disturbed by the mountain of dirty diapers in the bathroom and the cat urine and feces covering the home. But then two of Mike's missing cats turn up. (not for the squeamish!)

As Matt contemplates sleeping in the house Shanna talks about the smell coming from mold and dust.

Shanna's brother loses it after a hard cleanup day.
